SCHEDULE CHANGE REQUESTS

Due by Tuesday, August 11th, 2026 at 4pm

Requests will be considered ONLY for the following reasons:

  1.  Student has not been assigned the minimum number of academic classes (4 for seniors, 5 for juniors, 6 for sophomores and freshmen)
  2. There is a gap in the student’s schedule.
  3. Student is assigned a class they previously passed (in summer school, college classes, etc.).
  4. Student has not met the prerequisites for a specific class.
  5.  Student requires a schedule change to meet specific graduation requirements.

Schedule change requests regarding teacher or period assignment cannot be granted due to class size constraints, period availability, and balancing.

Requests to drop courses, including AP courses, will not be approved unless it meets one or more of the reasons listed above.

Students can get help from their teachers, makeup assignments, and retake exams on Brown days during the Per. 7 GLC which occurs right after lunch.

They can also utilize time wisely during the Gold GLC which all Grade 9 students have on Gold days (Per. 2, 4, 6, or 8). Students in grades 10-12 may also have a Gold GLC.

It is important to attend school daily and be on time for all classes. Attendance matters! Students need to present for instruction and to get support from their teachers.
