Students ages 18 years or older should submit their own requests. If this is not possible, a written release from the student should be uploaded with the online form. For security and confidentiality, all official transcripts that are mailed will be prepared in a signed, sealed envelope.
If you graduated before 2011, or attended/graduated from DCP El Primero High school you can request your transcript through our online form
Current middle and high school students, as well as parents/legal guardians of current secondary students, can access their unofficial transcripts through the Student and Parent Portals, respectively. Refer to the instructions for the four simple steps to obtaining a copy of your unofficial transcript. If you have questions, please contact the registrar at the last school of attendance in San José Unified.
We sometimes get requests from previous students to change information on the official transcript or add a picture to the transcript.
- Our transcripts include the student’s picture if it was taken while the student was enrolled in our district. We are unable to add pictures from other sources.
- For students who graduated after 2011, we can update names in our official records based on birth certificates or other official documentation. For students who graduated before 2011, we can provide a letter acknowledging the names on the birth certificate (or other official document) but are not able to edit the transcript.
If you are seeking elementary school records, please contact your student’s school to request.
